Abstract
Lubs et al. (Population cytogenetic studies in humans, 1977) found a detectably larger C-band-positive centromeric (cen+) region in chromosome 2 in 0.8% of 7- and 8-year-olds. No other studies have specifically addressed the frequency of 2cen+ in the normal population.
