Abstract

The implementation of the nuclear disarmament program poses the following problems: the cut-off of the further production of weapon-grade plutonium and the disposition of disarmament plutonium.

In solving these problems we take into consideration, along with non-proliferation safeguards,

  • •the structure, state and capabilities of the existing nuclear-industrial complex and

  • •the state and prospects of nuclear power.
