Abstract
To understand the multiple ways, educational psychology has and continues to inform capitalist society, an approach to the discipline that goes beyond mechanical technicism is required. That is, an approach to psychology that does not exist beyond experiments and controlled responses fails to be cognizant of the interconnected ways economic and political structures, in fundamental ways, are responsible for setting the laboratory agenda.
