Abstract

The purpose of this chapter is to analyze environmental conflicts. Environmental conflicts with their character, stakeholders, and especially long-term impacts, may result in serious crises. A precondition for an effective prevention and conflict solution is an examination of its nature and causes, as well as possible consequences of every single environmental conflict. This is utilized in the process of the environmental conflict analysis.
