Abstract
The disease was first noticed in the eastern part of India. The next time, after a gap of 20 years, it was spotted again in another Indian state. However, this time it was at the extreme western side of the country, far away from its place of first appearance. The disease marked its presence out of India 45 years later in Egypt. The second chapter has traced the pathway of dissemination of the disease from its place of origin to different parts of the world.
