Abstract
A new deconvolution method recently proposed by author (Germano (2009)) is developed and applied to the differential filters (Germano, Phys Fluids 29:1755–1757 (1986), Phys Fluids 29:1757–1758 (1986)), in the context of the large eddy simulation of turbulent flows and the related subgrid scale modeling.
