Abstract
The word “simplicial” is derived from the word “simplex”, and the notion of a simplex is fundamental not only to the subject of topology, but to several other branches of mathematics like graph theory, approximation theory, real analysis, etc. We will, therefore, first proceed to recall (see Section 1.1.1) the meaning and definition of a simplex.
