Abstract
I shall review in two opening sections the Standard Model of cosmology. This includes a brief introduction to inflation, a key idea of modern cosmology. More on this can be found at many places, for instance, in the recent textbooks on cosmology [1], [2], [3], [4], [5], [6], [7]. A recent treatise that concentrates mainly on the theoretical aspects of the cosmic microwave background physics is [8].
