Abstract

Many accounts have been previously published concerning the ontogeny of clonal selection theory of antibody formation. In 1988, J. Lederberg published his reflections on Darwin and Ehrlich entitled “Ontogeny of the clonal selection of antibody formation” (Lederberg, 1988). In 1995, The “FASEB Journal” published a special article of D.R. Forsdyke entitled “The origins of the clonal selection theory of immunity as a case study for evaluation in science” (Forsdyke, 1995). In 2002, “Nature Immunology” published a commentary of A.M.
