Abstract

In this chapter novel ruthenium complexes such as carboxylates are described. Chemical and thermal activation of new complexes providing highly active metathesis catalysts is discussed. Unique structural motif allow to introduce new carboxylate and sulfonate derived ligands without use of silver or thallium salts. Structure—activity relationship is investigated.
