Abstract
The review of Krizek (1986) provides the background against which this review will proceed. The literature (Kimball,1983; Cure, 1986) suggested that cotton was one of the crops most strongly influenced by CO2 enrichment. Based on greenhouse studies by Mauney et al. (1978) the yield response of cotton was placed at a doubling of yield with a doubling of CO2 concentration.
