Abstract
Direct problems considered in the book are boundary-value problems governed by Maxwell equations of electromagnetic field; their formulation in terms of vectors and potentials is here revisited. The Euclidean linear space, equipped with the usual norm, has been assumed to describe the inherent field geometry; accordingly, the analysis of Maxwell equations has been based on the concepts of vector and relevant operators grad, div, curl (Di Barba, Savini and Wiak 2008).
