Abstract
I was a student at Forest Hills High School in the late 1940s, graduating in January 1950. I did not take a class from Paul Brandwein; my biology teacher was George Schwartz, whose class I enjoyed greatly.

The poster I prepared, describing the project—The Effects of Light on Ascorbic Acid—was carefully preserved by my mother and evidently transferred when we moved from Kew Gardens to Boston; its remnants were recently discovered, mixed with other effects, in a spare room in our house.
