There is a characteristic of the Ukrainian potassium industry objects that may become the objects of chemical or biological terrorism. Among the considered counter measures the authors single out: technical re-equipment of the idle objects of potassium industry in Ukraine, processing of the cumulative brines into marketable chemical products, conservation of the potassium mines with the creation of health resorts and clinics.
