Samenvatting

Geleidelijk ontstond bij een 29-jarige voetbalster pijn aan de binnenzijde van het bovenbeen. Als de klachten na een half jaar nog steeds niet over zijn, bezoekt zij een fysiotherapeut. Het verhaal en de locatie van de pijn wijzen op een liesblessure. Men moet zich echter realiseren dat pijn in de lies talrijke oorzaken kan hebben. Het hoofdstuk beschrijft de patiëntencasus, de oorzaken van adductorgerelateerde liespijn en de behandeling ervan. Ook wordt een concreet oefenprogramma beschreven.
