Samenvatting
Dit protocol is gebaseerd op de cognitieve gedragstherapie. In H. 4 bespraken we dat de Richtlijn Diagnostiek en Behandeling van Obesitas bij Volwassenen en Kinderen (Medisch Wetenschappelijke Raad van het Kwaliteitsinstituut voor de Gezondheidszorg CBO 2008) de gecombineerde leefstijlinterventie beschrijft als behandeling van eerste keuze. Naast hulp op het gebied van voeding en bewegen is psychologische behandeling nodig om gedragsverandering te behalen en te behouden. Deze psychologische behandeling bestaat in dit protocol met name uit cognitief gedragstherapeutische interventies.
