Samenvatting

Om het stijgend aantal chronisch zieken nu en in de toekomst adequaat te kunnen behandelen, biedt e-Health mogelijkheden om de patiënt daarin een actievere rol te geven. Er is tijd en inspanning van artsen en verpleegkundigen nodig om e-Health een volwaardige rol binnen de zorg te geven. Uiteindelijk is het doel van e-Health de gezondheidsstatus van patiënten te verbeteren en de zorg efficiënter te maken.
