Samenvatting

De behandeling is in de psychiatrie relatief eenvoudig te omschrijven: pillen, praten en doen. Bij de mildere aandoeningen of bij persoonlijkheidsproblematiek zal voornamelijk psychotherapie worden ingezet. Bij matig ernstige aandoeningen zijn zowel medicatie als psychotherapie nodig. Bij de heel ernstige aandoeningen zal alles uit de kast gehaald worden maar zal vooral ook eerst gekeken worden wat de medicatie voor effect heeft.
