Samenvatting

Deze 76-jarige adipeuze man verliest regelmatig de controle over zijn benen, vooral als hij een tijdje heeft gelopen. Dit wordt zo erg, dat hij zijn huis nauwelijks meer uit durft te gaan. De oorzaak van het probleem lijkt op grond van de symptomen op een ernstige kanaalstenose met neurogene claudicatio. Toch is na beeldvormend onderzoek de diagnose vrij verassend.
