Samenvatting
Onder een hoofdtrauma wordt verstaan elke vorm van trauma of letsel van het hoofd, zowel direct als indirect, bijvoorbeeld door met grote kracht stoten van het hoofd, val op het hoofd, acceleratie-deceleratietrauma of hard voorwerp tegen het hoofd krijgen tijdens sporten.
