Samenvatting
De patiënt in deze casus valt op zijn hand wat pijn in de pols veroorzaakt. In eerste instantie lijkt het letsel wel mee te vallen. Er wordt echter iets over het hoofd gezien wat een half jaar later tot gevolg heeft dat de patiënt een siliconen prothese krijgt van een handwortelbeentje. Op veel langere termijn wordt er zelfs een prothese van het gehele polsgewricht geplaatst. Op het eind van het hoofdstuk worden enkele richtlijnen gegeven voor de revalidatie na het plaatsen van een polsprothese.
