De vraag is allereerst of de mishandelde oudere thuis nog veilig is. Vanzelfsprekend moet eerder de dader dan het slachtoffer het huis verlaten, maar voor de zorgafhankelijke oudere is het niet altijd mogelijk om thuis te blijven.
