Samenvatting

De president-directeur van Shell Nederland, gezant van de minister van vws voor Sneller Beter op het gebied van patiëntveiligheid, heeft in zijn rapport Je werkt hier veilig, of je werkt hier niet in 2004 geadviseerd om ziekenhuizen – net als hoogrisicobedrijven zoals Shell – een zogeheten veiligheidsmanagementsysteem (vms) te laten invoeren.
