Samenvatting
Bij overmatige speekselvloed (sialorroe) kan er sprake zijn van hypersalivatie, een daadwerkelijke toename van de speekselsecretie. In veel gevallen van sialorroe is de speekselsecretie echter normaal of zelfs verlaagd.
