Samenvatting
Vragenlijsten zijn geliefd en gehaat. Voor de ene POH-GGZ zijn ze niet uit de praktijk weg te denken, de ander heeft moeite de meerwaarde ervan te zien. Al doende leert de POH-GGZ de voor- en nadelen van het gebruik van meetinstrumenten ter ondersteuning van het werk kennen. Hoeveel voordelen de toepassing van vragenlijsten ook kent, de klinische blik blijft een van de krachtigste instrumenten van de hulpverlener. Daar tegenover staat de verantwoordelijkheid van de POH-GGZ om zorgvuldig en deskundig te werken en zijn indruk, visie en behandelplan te onderbouwen. Gevalideerde instrumenten bieden hierbij gefundeerde ondersteuning.
Dit hoofdstuk geeft een overzicht van de toepassingen en limitaties van meetinstrumenten. Vervolgens worden enkele vragenlijsten toegelicht die passen binnen de werkzaamheden van de POH-GGZ: de 4DKL, BDI, GDS, UBOS, PQ, SDQ en MMSE. Al deze vragenlijsten zijn, al of niet tegen betaling, online te downloaden en/of bestellen.

COTAN: commissie opgericht door het Nederlands Instituut van Psychologen (NIP) om de kwaliteit van tests en testgebruik in Nederland te bevorderen en testgebruikers te informeren over de stand van zaken op testgebied. Daartoe beoordeelt de COTAN psychodiagnostische instrumenten en geeft testauteurs feedback over de kwaliteit van het door hen ontwikkelde instrument.
