Introductie

De laatste decennia wordt steeds vaker een heupartroscopie uitgevoerd ter behandeling van labrumletsels. Tijdens de artroscopie moet men, door middel van forse tractie, de heup enigszins luxeren om ruimte te creëren voor de scoop. Nu is de heup een zeer stabiel gewricht, enerzijds door de vorm van kop en kom, anderzijds door zeer stevige gewrichtsbanden. Dat een dergelijke tractie niet zonder risico is, blijkt uit deze casus.
