Eenduidig taalgebruik bij het diagnostisch en therapeutisch handelen van de diëtist

Samenvatting

Ter verbetering van de communicatie, het verhogen van de transparantie van het methodisch handelen van diëtisten en als hulp bij het in kaart brengen van de effectiviteit van diëtistische zorg is het belangrijk om de gegevens uit het diëtistische zorgproces eenduidig vast te leggen. Deze eenduidigheid is te realiseren met de richtlijnen Probleem geOriënteerde Registratie (POR) en de Classificaties en Codelijsten voor de Diëtetiek. In dit hoofdstuk worden de achtergronden en toepassingsmogelijkheden van de classificaties en codelijsten beschreven en worden voorbeelden van toepassing van ICF-diëtetiek bij diëtetiek-verslaglegging in het elektronisch patiëntendossier gegeven.

    De norm NEN 7522 geeft eisen voor het hanteren van terminologiestelsels in de Nederlandse gezondheidszorg. De eisen gaan in op de ontwikkeling, het gebruik, het beheer en het beleid rondom terminologiestelsels.

    “ESAS (Edmonton Symptom Assessment System) is a validated tool developed in Canada. It uses a set of simple visual analogue scales to track patient symptoms over time.
