Introductie
Bij tennis worden enorme krachten gegenereerd tijdens de opslag en bij smashen. Niet zelden resulteert dit in een letsel of instabiliteit van de schouder. Deze casus beschrijft weer een ander type letsel dan die uit de voorgaande casuïstiek. In dit geval is de bicepspees betrokken bij de gevonden vorm van pathologie.
Er worden vier verschillende gradaties van dit type letsel beschreven en de afwegingen die een orthopedisch chirurg moet maken bij een eventueel noodzakelijke operatie.
