Samenvatting

In dit hoofdstuk bespreken we de ziekte van Parkinson en – in het kort – ook verschillende typen parkinsonismen. De aandacht gaat in eerste instantie uit naar een korte beschrijving van kenmerken, risicofactoren, gevolgen en theorieën. Vervolgens richt de focus zich op een uitvoerige bespreking van een casus. De auteur baseert deze bijdrage op literatuurstudie en eigen ervaring in het werkveld van hulpverlening aan mensen met de ziekte van Parkinson en parkinsonismen.
