Inleiding

De ziekte van Ebstein, genoemd naar Wilhelm Ebstein (1836-1912) is een AHA van de morfologische tricuspidalisklep. De diagnose ziekte van Ebstein kon lange tijd alleen post mortem worden gesteld. Met de introductie van de echocardiografie in de jaren zeventig is het stellen van de diagnose eenvoudiger geworden.
