Inleiding
Anafylaxie is een algemene allergische reactie van het lichaam die binnen enkele minuten kan ontstaan. Er zijn verschillende organen die vooral bij deze, in principe levensbedreigende, reactie betrokken zijn. De allergische reactie treedt in de meeste gevallen op in het eerste uur na de aanleidende gebeurtenis. Hoe sneller de reactie optreedt, des te ernstiger is het beloop.
