Abstract
De endocriene klieren zijn betrokken bij de regulatie van de functie van vrijwel alle orgaansystemen. Functiestoornissen van endocriene klieren hebben dan ook vaak gevolgen voor meer dan één orgaansysteem en daarmee voor het functioneren van het dier als geheel.
