7 Pijn gedurende de orthodontische behandeling: een onderschat probleem?

Samenvatting

Pijn komt relatief frequent voor gedurende de orthodontische behandeling. Zo werd aangetoond dat tot 95% van de patiënten pijn ervaart gedurende hun behandeling (Bergius et al., 2000). Desondanks zijn er weinig onderzoeken beschikbaar die de oorzaken, prevalentie en gevolgen hiervan analyseren.
