Fundoscopie of oogspiegelen onderzoekt het achterste segment van het oog, de oogfundus. Beoordeeld worden de papil, de retinale vaten, de retina zelf en de maculaire regio naar beeld, vorm en kleur. Daarom komt fundoscopie in aanmerking bij alle oftalmologische aandoeningen die deze structuren aantasten.
