Samenvatting

Het aantal testen in feces heeft een veel minder grote vlucht genomen dan in urine en bloed. Mogelijke oorzaken zullen de verzamel- en hygiëneproblematiek bij de patiënt zijn en de verwerking van de monsters op het laboratorium. Daarnaast spelen andere factoren een belangrijke rol zoals de onvolledigheid van de verzamelingen (zeker wanneer 3 dagen wordt verzameld), de bijmenging van voedsel, en de contaminatie van de darmflora door externe bacteriën.
