Roeierspols, peritendinitis crepitans, bugaboo onderarm, abductor pollicis longus bursitis, cross-over syndroom, oarsman’s wrist, adventitial bursitis, teno(myo)synovitis van de polsextensoren en subcutane perimyositis zijn allemaal synoniemen voor het intersectiesyndroom.

Intersectio = kruising van weefsels.
