Samenvatting
Al jaren had deze, nu 57-jarige, vrouw last van haar handen. Het begon indertijd met pijnlijke gewrichtsontstekingen van de metacarpofalangeale gewrichten . Vooral de metacarpofalangeale II en III gewrichten van haar linkerhand waren aangedaan. De diagnose was niet moeilijk; snel werd duidelijk dat sprake was van reumatoïde artritis.
