Zusammenfassung

De NHG-Standaard Niet-traumatische knieproblemen bij kinderen en adolescenten geeft richtlijnen voor de diagnostiek en behandeling bij deze patie ¨ntengroepen met knieklachten die niet het gevolg zijn van een trauma. Deze standaard bestaat uit twee delen. In het eerste deel worden de standsafwijkingen van de knie besproken, die vooral bij jonge kinderen worden gezien. In het tweede deel worden de meest voorkomende oorzaken van pijnklachten van de knie bij oudere kinderen en adolescenten besproken. Deze standaard vormt samen met de NHG-Standaard Traumatische knieproblemen en de NHG-Standaard Niet-traumatische knieproblemen bij volwassenen een drieluik over knieproblemen in de huisartsenpraktijk (zie tabel 1).
