Samenvatting

‘Dokter, krijg ik nu ook kanker?’ Met deze vraag kwam ik een paar jaar geleden naar het UMC St Radboud, ik was toen 26. Toen ik elf jaar was, overleed mijn moeder op 42-jarige leeftijd aan borstkanker. Twee tantes, zussen van mijn moeder, kregen ook borstkanker, net als andere vrouwen in de familie.
