Samenvatting

Een 56-jarige vrouw met gemetastaseerd mammacarcinoom wordt door de radiotherapeut naar mij verwezen voor behandeling. Ik ben internist-oncoloog. Een klein jaar eerder is bij haar, zo lees ik in haar status, de diagnose gesteld. Zij heeft het reguliere behandeltraject doorlopen: een lumpectomie, okselkliertoilet, radiotherapie en aanvullend een halfjaar chemotherapie.
