Abstract
Een 83-jarige vrouw is bekend met een uitgebreid gemetastaseerd mammacarcinoom. Zij is nu stervende. Patiënte is in het ziekenhuis opgenomen. De reden voor opname was een onrustig delier. Patiënte is gelaxeerd, de dosis fentanyl (Durogesic®) is verlaagd, en nu ligt zij rustig, somnolent in bed, wel reutelt zij fors. De prognose van patiënte wordt geschat op enkele uren.
