Abstract
De theorieën die in het vorige hoofdstuk werden besproken, hebben onder andere met elkaar gemeen dat er expliciet of impliciet altijd van de adolescent een groter wordende zelfstandigheid wordt verwacht. Meer en meer moet hij of zij een persoon worden die op eigen benen kan staan, en die in toenemende mate zelf verantwoordelijk wordt voor de keuzen die hij of zij maakt.
