Samenvatting

Het hart pompt gedurende de systole bloed vanuit de ventrikels in de aorta en in de arteria pulmonalis. Gedurende de diastole stroomt het bloed van de atria naar de ventrikels. Eén hartcyclus bestaat uit een systolische en een diastolische fase.
