19 Het pericard

Samenvatting

Het pericard is een taaie zak die het hart vrij strak omgeeft. Daar waar bloedvaten het hart binnenkomen (de vier venae pulmonales en de beide venae cavae) en uitgaan (de aorta en de art. pulmonalis) bevinden zich omslagplooien (fig. 19.1 en 19.2). De holte in de plooi tussen LA, apd en aorta ascendens is de sinus transversus; die bij de longvenen de sinus obliquus.
