Samenvatting

Van het chronische-vermoeidheidssyndroom (cvs) is sprake bij moeheidsklachten die langer duren dan 6 maanden, leiden tot aanzienlijke beperkingen in het dagelijks functioneren, niet verbeteren door rusten en gepaard gaan met afname van concentratie- of inprentingsvermogen en meer dan een van de volgende klachten: keelpijn, opgezette lymfeklieren, spierpijn, gewrichtsklachten, hoofdpijn, slaapproblemen of misselijkheid, waarbij de klachten niet kunnen worden toegeschreven aan een thans diagnosticeerbare somatische of psychiatrische aandoening.
