Samenvatting

Er zijn verschillende definities voor urine-incontinentie in omloop. De meest gangbare definitie is die van de International Continence Society, ‘urine-incontinentie is de klacht van ongewild urineverlies’. Deze definitie is in de meest recente NHG-Standaard overgenomen. De toevoeging ‘twee of meer keren per maand’ is daarmee uit de Standaard gehaald.
