Samenvatting
Sinds iets meer dan vijftig jaar wordt er door therapeuten met gezinnen gesproken. Vanzelfsprekend was er ook daarvoor het besef dat een kind ouders had en in een gezin functioneerde, maar dit bij elkaar horen werd niet vertaald in een tezamen zien en spreken in een therapeutische context. De pioniers van de kinderanalyse, zoals Von Hugh-Helmuth, Anna Freud en Klein, en van de kindergedragstherapie, zoals Watson, Raynor en Jones behandelden het kind als individu.
