Samenvatting
Lunatomalacie is avasculaire botnecrose van het os lunatum . Het necrotiserende botweefsel wordt na verloop van tijd vervangen door zachter fibreus weefsel. Tijdens dit proces verandert het os lunatum van vorm. De aandoening wordt vooral gezien bij adolescenten; vaker bij mannen dan bij vrouwen.
