Bij het woord dermatotherapie zal men in eerste instantie denken aan de uitwendige behandeling van huidaandoeningen. Dat is ook de meest gebruikte therapiemodaliteit in de huisartsen- en in de dermatologische praktijk. Het grootste deel van dit hoofdstuk is daar dan ook aan gewijd.
