Samenvatting

De schematherapie van Jeffrey Young is relatief recent en zijn model is nog volop in ontwikkeling. In de loop van de tijd hebben diverse aanpassingen plaatsgevonden, een fenomeen dat wel vaker wordt waargenomen bij nieuwe vormen van therapie. Lag het accent in zijn model aanvankelijk op de disfunctionele schema’s, gaandeweg is de rol van schemamodi prominenter geworden.
